 Being online is no longer something strange in our life. To some degree, it has become part of our daily life. We can do a lot of things online, such as searching for information and communicating with friends far and near. But recently another helpful online activity has become very “in”. That is online education.

　　Why could online education be so popular within such a short period of time? Among other reasons, the quick development of the internet should be an essential one, which makes all our dreams of attending class in the distance possible. Another underlying reason is the quick development of both society and technology. Today,modern science and technology is developing with lightening speed. To catch up with this development we all feel an urgent and strong desire to study. However, due to the great pace of modern society, many people are too busy to study full time at school. Online education just comes to their aid.

　　Personally, I appreciate this new form of education. It＇s indeed a helpful complement to the traditional educational means. It can provide different learners with more flexible and versatile ways of learning. Most of all,with online education, we can sick to our jobs and at the same time study and absorb the latest knowledge.

How to choose when we graduat

Having stayed on campus for so many yearsm some students become bored and can＇t wait to pick up a job. They are eager to lead a life that is less stressful intellectually and less pressing economically. In their eyes jobs can provide them with constant opportunities for solving problemsmwhich demands a combination of schoolbook knowledge and practical abilitie.

However, some students plan to continue their education in pursuing a master＇s degree. In terms of career academic preparation, knowledge and skills acquired at undergraduate level are far from adequate. A sound fact is that an increasing number of graduates are returning, motivated by the need to update their knowledge and enhance their skills. The news that graduates with higher degrees are better off spreads from shrinking job market.

All this indicates that a bachelor＇s degree  can hardly qualify students for a competitive position. If I am faced with the choice, I prefer to stay and pursue a M. A. degree. I know my choice will mean a commitment of time and money. But opportunities always take the form of hardships and risks. The days might be rigorous and painstaking, but they would certainly be fulfilling and rewarding, and would surely lead to a prosperous future.

Advantages of a Job Interview

A job interview, a formal meeting between the employer and the applicant,

is an effective way for the interviewer to know about the applicant and the

interviewee to know about the job he is applying for. It is advantageous to

both the interviewer and the interviewee.
The interviewer, in a job interview, usually offers detailed information

about the job under discussion, such as the nature of the job, the working

condition, the requirements for the applicant, and the payment for the job.

At the same time, he can see with his own eyes the interviewee’s

appearance, manner, character, educational background etc. This can

surely help him make a proper judgment on whether the interviewee is fit

for the job or not.
As far as the interviewee is concerned, a job interview provides him with

a good chance to display his merits. For example, he can exhibit his

competence and self-confidence through his knowledge, show his

sincerity and enthusiasm for work with his previous experience, and

demonstrate his understanding of the job and an ability in meeting these

requirements. This may give the interviewer a good impression, which, in

turn, will increase his chance of getting the job.
